Community Involvement

Proud to Serve the Community We Call Home

Country Cleaners has been part of the North Idaho community since 1975. Beyond caring for our customers’ clothing, we’re proud to support local schools, organizations, and community programs that make our area a great place to live and work.

Honoring the American Flag

As a veteran-owned business, Country Cleaners is proud to clean American flags at no charge. It’s a small way we can give back to our community and help ensure the flag is treated with the care and respect it deserves.

We also provide flag cleaning for Yates Funeral Home, helping care for the flags they use while serving local families and honoring loved ones.

Supporting Sandpoint JROTC

Country Cleaners is proud to provide professional uniform cleaning for the Sandpoint High School JROTC program. When the program had difficulty finding a cleaner in the region able to accommodate its government purchasing requirements, Country Cleaners was happy to step in and help. We’re proud to play a small part in keeping their cadets looking sharp for ceremonies, competitions, and other events throughout the year.

Supporting Coeur Closet

Country Cleaners is proud to support Coeur Closet, a local program that provides clothing to students in need. Coeur Closet serves students who may not otherwise have access to appropriate clothing for school, special events, and other important occasions.

When Coeur Closet has garments that need professional cleaning, they bring them to Country Cleaners and we clean them at no charge. It’s our way of helping make sure the clothing they provide is clean, cared for, and ready for a student to wear with confidence.

Supporting Safe Passage

Country Cleaners is proud to support Safe Passage and the important work they do for individuals and families in our community. In 2026, we were pleased to contribute a Country Cleaners gift certificate to their annual gala in support of their mission.

Working Together for Our Community

Country Cleaners is always glad to hear from local schools, nonprofit organizations, and community programs doing good work throughout North Idaho. If your organization has a need where our services may be able to help, we’d be happy to hear from you.
